National Coney Island hires artist, Todd Pearl, to develop, design and illustrate the unofficial story of the Hot Dog.
Canton, MI
Come on down to Canton, have a couple coney's and see my madness... I mean, genius. National Coney Island, est. 1965, popular restaurant chain here in the greater Detroit area, with 19, now 20 locations... hired me to develop, design and illustrate the interior wall graphics for their new signature Canton, MI. location. Working with the owner/president, Tom Giftos and his wife Patricia, we took the unofficial story of the "hot dog" and created this wonderful visual spectacle, highlighting "Frank Facts" about the hot dog and also the history NCI for the last 50 years. With the recent refresh of their brand, using their original "Mr. Pop" character, I was able to bring him more to life with a rough drawn depiction of he eating a hot dog and other. While entertaining it also promoted the classic dishes that the chain has offered over the years. Come on in, enjoy a couple of coney dogs while you take in the madness... I mean creativity, of the Todd Man.

Southfield High School Alum develops branding for new high school June 10, 2016 - Southfield, Michigan
To create the logo, mascot and branding of the new Southfield High School for the Arts & Technology, the school district chose a Southfield High alum, Todd Pearl.
With the district closing one of their two High Schools and combining them both, the challenge was to respect the legacies of both schools while approaching the process of creating their new brand. Using the colors from each school, Blue for SHS and RED for Southfield Lathrup, I designed a traditional collegiate-style brand that the students, faculty and community can be proud of for years to come.
“It has been an absolute honor, joy and privilege to be chosen to develop the new brand and identity for Southfield A&T,” said Pearl. “I couldn’t ask for a better “life comes full circle” experience.”
The Prince Kekoa Trading Company of Kauai hires Todd Pearl to design an exclusive humorous apparel line
As of this past August, 2017.... The Prince Kekoa Trading Company of Kauai has hired Todd Pearl to design for their apparel company, The Proud Pecker Brand. This fowl brand (heh) was established in 2013 creating very fun illustrations from other artists as well. My specific talents were sought to help propel an already successful apparel brand. The concept, as you can see, is all about chickens. If you did not know... the Chicken is as revered in Asia and Polynesia, as the Bald Eagle is here. Gary Keeth, owner of PPBrand, was set on finding an another artist with a different style then they had, who knew how to make people smile. Here is my first design that commemorates the Chinese New Year... which happens to be The year of the Rooster. These are top quality shirts, screen printed in multiple colors. The Year of the Rooster shirt is on sale, since the year is almost up. It's your year to Cluck. More designs to come. I was also commissioned to do the graphic design work for two coffee labels for the Hanalei Tea Company collaborating using the PPBrand. Aloha. Surf's up.

Premier Academy in Oakland Township commissions Todd Pearl for it's new main lobby art. July 2014 - Oakland Township I was commissioned to create an illustrated version of the Lord's prayer for the Premier Academy. A pre-school catering to children 6 months to school age. This Lobby Art is the first thing you see when you enter the main lobby of the school. The art was meant to engage the very young children with the traditional Lord's prayer. The piece was created digitally and printed on canvas, adding protection to the lobby art with an acrylic stand-off. The teachers and students couldn't be happier.
